Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and foot patrols to detect suspicious activity
- Enforce access control procedures at entry points
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and medical incidents
- Document incident reports with detailed accuracy
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical situations
- Operate security systems including metal detectors and X-ray scanners
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in outdoor conditions
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Proficient in incident report writing and digital documentation
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun evenings)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
