Responsibilities
- Monitor security surveillance feeds and access control systems in real-time to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Dispatch emergency response units and security personnel to incidents within the facility or perimeter.
- Log and accurately record all security events, incidents, and access requests in the digital dispatch system.
- Communicate effectively with on-site staff, management, and law enforcement agencies during emergencies.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure compliance with safety protocols and identify maintenance needs.
- Manage access control for employees and visitors, verifying credentials and issuing badges as required.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and report suspicious activities immediately to supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in security dispatch, monitoring centers, or law enforcement preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in using computer software and monitoring systems; basic typing skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
