Responsibilities
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Access Control: Verify credentials of individuals entering the premises and authorize entry only to authorized personnel.
- Incident Reporting: Document all irregularities, emergencies, and suspicious activities in the shift logbook accurately and promptly.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches following established protocols.
- Client Relations: Interact professionally with employees, guests, and clients to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report any malfunctioning security equipment or access control systems.
Qualifications
- License: Must possess a valid Security Officer License or Guard Registration in the State of Florida.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write detailed incident reports.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
