Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, weeding, and harvesting seasonal crops in the fields.
- Operate farm machinery, tractors, and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load, unload, sort, and pack agricultural products for transport to packing houses.
- Maintain field cleanliness by removing debris, weeds, and trash to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and general farm maintenance duties.
- Follow all safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily tasks and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A Visa or legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or agricultural labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and humidity.
- Basic English communication skills for safety and operational instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the farm location.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime during harvest seasons.
