Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end relocation packages for tech professionals relocating to Portland, including visa assistance, housing search, and school enrollment
- Build and maintain relationships with Portland tech employers to understand relocation needs and opportunities
- Develop customized relocation plans leveraging Portland's unique tech ecosystem resources
- Conduct market research on Portland's tech neighborhoods, cost of living, and industry trends
- Facilitate networking events connecting newcomers with local tech communities
- Manage documentation compliance for international and domestic relocation processes
- Provide ongoing support during the first 90 days post-relocation to ensure successful integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in corporate relocation or HR coordination with tech industry focus
- Deep knowledge of Portland's tech landscape, neighborhoods, and business culture
- Certification in Global Mobility or Relocation Management (GMS, CRP, or similar) preferred
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills with experience in international relocations
- Proficiency in relocation management software and CRM systems
- Strong negotiation skills for housing and service provider contracts
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams across time zones
- Valid Oregon driver's license with reliable transportation for local meetings
