Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems using CloudWatch and Datadog
- Document technical specifications and create runbooks for operational excellence
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/Go)
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
- Willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC (relocation assistance provided)
