Responsibilities
- Harvesting: Hand-pick and gather fruits and vegetables according to strict quality and size standards.
- Field Maintenance: Perform weeding, pruning, and general upkeep of crop rows to ensure optimal growth conditions.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate tractors, loaders, and other agricultural equipment under supervision.
- Packaging: Assist in sorting, grading, and packing harvested goods for transport.
- Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and break areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production quotas efficiently.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or hold a valid US work authorization.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in outdoor weather conditions.
- Endurance: Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- English: Basic proficiency in English to follow instructions and ensure safety compliance.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the harvest schedule.
