Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including planting, weeding, and harvesting crops according to established schedules.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of produce and materials.
- Monitor field health and report any pest infestations or crop diseases to supervisors immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety protocols, OSHA standards, and H2A regulations.
- Work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain, while maintaining productivity.
- Clean work areas and maintain a tidy farm environment to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for or currently hold a valid H2A visa.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required by harvest schedules.
- Basic understanding of agricultural processes and equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Valid government-issued ID and social security card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
