Responsibilities
- Harvesting & Picking: Carefully select and harvest fruits and vegetables according to quality and size standards.
- Planting & Cultivation: Assist in planting, weeding, irrigating, and maintaining fields to ensure optimal crop growth.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate agricultural machinery and hand tools, including tractors, loaders, and packing equipment.
- Packaging: Sort, grade, and pack harvested products into crates or boxes for transport.
- General Maintenance: Perform general farm upkeep, including cleaning work areas and maintaining tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible for H2A temporary agricultural worker status and possess a valid passport.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or manual labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Teamwork: Strong willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
