Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and privacy.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team or physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency situations swiftly and professionally within scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Graduates from accredited nursing programs may be considered).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to obtain required US work authorization.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
