Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in specialized units including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations accurately in Epic electronic health records
- Mentor new staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and regulatory compliance protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain through expedited endorsement
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certifications preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience in hospital setting
- Valid BLS/ACLS certifications; TNCC or PALS beneficial
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Eligible for TN visa sponsorship (H-1B available for advanced roles)
