Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, patient-centered care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions in real-time, alerting physicians to any changes.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-care instructions.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Willingness to undergo a medical examination and background check as part of the visa sponsorship process.
