Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status, documenting all observations and changes accurately in electronic health records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (or eligible for licensure in New Jersey).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication with patients and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
