Responsibilities
- Source and screen qualified tech candidates for specialized roles in Buffalo's growing startup and corporate landscape
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including outreach, interviews, and offer negotiations
- Develop strategic relocation packages for candidates moving to Buffalo, including housing, schools, and community integration
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and optimize talent pipelines
- Utilize LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche tech platforms to identify passive candidates
- Maintain accurate candidate data in our ATS system and provide weekly progress reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience with proven success in tech placements
- Deep understanding of Buffalo's tech market, major employers, and relocation resources
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, or similar)
- Experience crafting compelling relocation packages and overcoming relocation objections
- Strong analytical skills to track recruitment metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Valid New York State driver's license for occasional candidate meetings
