Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily manufacturing and operational workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and production targets are met.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of supervisors, operators, and support staff to foster a positive work culture.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Manage inventory levels, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials to prevent production stoppages.
- Budget Control: Develop and monitor operational budgets, control costs, and analyze financial data to drive profitability.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA and company safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident workplace environment.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing software.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving performance improvements.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
