Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during the night shift to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor production output to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets and quality standards.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to minimize workplace accidents.
- Conduct shift briefings, perform shift handovers, and document production logs and shift reports.
- Train, coach, and mentor floor staff to improve performance and reduce downtime.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement as needed.
- Identify and resolve operational issues or bottlenecks in real-time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
