Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous quality control inspections on incoming raw materials and finished goods during night operations.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, defects, or areas for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of all quality assurance tests and audit results.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to communicate critical quality issues and ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Operate precision testing equipment and calibrate tools according to safety protocols.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the maintenance department.
- Train junior staff on proper quality standards and inspection procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field (Quality Control, Engineering, or Manufacturing) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or QA role.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
