Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations on the night shift to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of floor employees to maximize productivity and safety compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct nightly safety audits to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Address and resolve operational issues immediately to minimize downtime and production bottlenecks.
- Prepare and submit daily shift reports and production metrics to upper management.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations supervision.
- Proven track record of leading teams effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
