Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain 24/7 infrastructure including servers, network switches, and cooling systems
- Perform proactive hardware repairs and preventative maintenance on critical equipment
- Execute emergency protocols during power outages or environmental anomalies
- Document incident reports and maintenance logs using proprietary CMDB systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during scheduled maintenance windows
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and SOC 2 Type II security standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on data center or Tier 3 facility experience
- CompTIA Server+ or CCNA certification required
- Expertise in CRAC units, PDUs, and DCIM software (e.g., Nlyte)
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- Valid California driver's license for emergency response duties
