As a Weekend Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for system troubleshooting, software installation, and hardware maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and resolve incoming support tickets within established SLA timeframes.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the weekday support team to escalate complex issues.
- Conduct regular system checks to ensure uptime and security.
- Assist in training new staff members on weekend procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous experience in technical support or a help desk environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.
