Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced patient care in specialized nursing units with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize Epic EMR for comprehensive documentation and care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to unit-specific training programs
- Ensure strict adherence to JCAHO and state regulatory standards
Qualifications
- BSN degree or higher (MSN preferred) from accredited institution
- Active RN license in good standing with Kentucky Board of Nursing
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required for ICU roles)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Successful NCLEX-RN pass record and clean professional background
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment and critical care protocols
