Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to formulate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting vital signs and changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond effectively to critical situations and emergencies within the unit.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (or equivalent foreign nursing license eligible for sponsorship).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Eligible for H-1B, O-1, or TN visa sponsorship (or currently holding a valid work visa).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
