Responsibilities
- Perform planting, cultivating, and harvesting of seasonal crops (e.g., cotton, grains, vegetables) according to strict agricultural standards.
- Operate and maintain heavy agricultural machinery, including tractors, combines, and irrigation systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations, farm protocols, and environmental guidelines.
- Inspect crops for quality, disease, and pest issues, reporting findings to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak harvest seasons.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and storage areas.
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and nights as required by crop schedules.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid H-2A Visa or be eligible to obtain one immediately.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous labor outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate farm equipment safely.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Previous experience in commercial farming, harvesting, or agricultural labor is a plus but not mandatory.
