Responsibilities
- Perform essential agricultural tasks including planting, weeding, and harvesting crops in various weather conditions.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on agricultural machinery, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and government regulations regarding H2A employment standards.
- Inspect crops regularly for quality and disease, reporting any issues immediately to the farm manager.
- Load and unload produce for transport to storage facilities or processing plants.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or the ability to obtain sponsorship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in all weather elements.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and prior experience operating farm equipment is preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
