Responsibilities
- Field Operations: Perform manual labor tasks including planting, weeding, and harvesting a variety of seasonal crops in outdoor field conditions.
- Machinery: Safely operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment under supervision.
- Quality Control: Assist in the packing, sorting, and grading of produce to ensure it meets strict industry quality standards.
- Field Maintenance: Monitor field conditions to identify pests, diseases, or irrigation issues and report them immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a diverse crew to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: No prior agricultural experience required; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures (heat/cold) and various weather conditions.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States (H2A visa holders preferred).
- Communication: Basic English comprehension skills to understand safety instructions and team instructions.
