Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to define and implement features.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure high system performance and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and learn from peers.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to the office in Chicago, IL as needed.
