Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Proactively monitor server performance and network traffic to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
- Ticket Management: Manage and respond to incoming help desk tickets, ensuring a quick resolution time and maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for internal staff and clients.
- Security & Maintenance: Perform routine security patches, software updates, and hardware maintenance during off-peak hours.
- Documentation: Accurately document all technical resolutions, incident reports, and system configurations in our ticketing system.
- Shift Coordination: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure seamless workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent professional experience is accepted.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical support role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Office Suite, and basic networking protocols.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
