Responsibilities
- Harvest Operations: Perform manual harvesting of seasonal produce, ensuring all products meet industry quality standards.
- Cultivation: Assist in planting, weeding, and maintaining crop fields under varying weather conditions.
- Equipment Handling: Operate farm machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently as directed.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for pests and diseases, reporting issues to the farm manager immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and farm-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Packing: Participate in the packing and sorting process to prepare goods for distribution.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess or be willing to apply for an H2A visa.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy weights (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- English Proficiency: Basic ability to understand and communicate in English for safety and operational purposes.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings, especially during harvest season.
