Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional table service to 15-20 guests per shift
- Process payments accurately using POS systems
- Upsell premium menu items and seasonal specials
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless order execution
- Reset and maintain dining room standards
- Train new team members on service protocols
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years fine dining experience
- NYC Food Handler certification required
- Excellent knowledge of wine and beverage pairings
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Proficient with reservation systems (OpenTable preferred)
- Positive attitude under high-pressure situations
