Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to patients (bathing, dressing, mobility support)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Support patients with daily living activities in group settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Valid Virginia driver's license or state ID
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- No prior healthcare experience necessary (training provided)
- Background check and drug screen required
- Positive attitude and cultural sensitivity
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification
