Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for the weekend shift, ensuring all productivity targets and KPIs are met efficiently.
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and perform spot checks to ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and shipment verification.
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize workflow processes and resolve operational bottlenecks quickly.
- Handle customer inquiries and escalations with professionalism and resolve issues on-site.
- Ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained and in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of leadership, team management, and conflict resolution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
