Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple transportation modes (truck, rail, air)
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize costs and maximize delivery efficiency
- Maintain real-time shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit disruptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless dock scheduling and inventory management
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and key clients
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of logistics/supply chain coordination experience preferred
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex logistics data
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (Class A CDL beneficial but not required)
- Knowledge of Southeast US transportation corridors and distribution networks
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and occasional weekends
