Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily operations during the assigned weekend shift to ensure 100% service level agreement (SLA) achievement.
- Supervise and mentor a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure accurate data entry into our logistics management systems.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and logistical challenges in real-time to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the weekday management team to ensure a smooth transition of operations and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related supervisory role.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
