As a Technical Recruiter at Velocity, you will be the face of our company to potential candidates and the strategic partner to our engineering and product teams. You will identify, attract, and close top talent in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and social recruiting, to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and job specifications.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and compensation benchmarks.
- Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and industry contacts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in software engineering, data science, or IT roles.
- Expert proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technical skill sets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet aggressive hiring targets.
