Responsibilities
- Sourcing and screening candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and networking events to fill full-time technical roles.
- Conducting in-depth phone screens and face-to-face interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including negotiating offers and extending employment contracts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers to understand their long-term staffing needs.
- Tracking key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire) and optimizing sourcing strategies.
- Representing Apex Talent at job fairs and networking events in the Los Angeles area.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, specifically within the Los Angeles market.
- Proven track record of placing candidates in roles such as Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or iCims.
- Strong network of active and passive candidates within the tech industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions.
