Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code; conduct thorough code reviews and debugging.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- System Architecture: Design robust system architectures that meet business requirements and scale with future growth.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, API specs, and architecture diagrams.
- Problem Solving: Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Frameworks: Strong understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Django).
- Relocation Willingness: Must be willing to relocate to Laredo, TX, to accept this position.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
