Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions including cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid networks
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Optimize system performance through automation, monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog), and continuous improvement methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions and DevOps pipelines
- Document technical specifications, create disaster recovery plans, and ensure system resilience
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff on best practices
- Stay current with emerging technologies through research and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with infrastructure, security, and cloud technologies
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Eligibility for US visa sponsorship (H1B, O1, or other work authorization)
