Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Lead API development and integration with third-party financial systems
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction banking applications
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct code profiling and performance tuning
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring development
- Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and security best practices
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies
- Agile/Scrum methodology proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
