Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions for high-stakes federal projects
- Lead cloud migration strategies for hybrid enterprise environments
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and compliance standards
- Collaborate with security teams to implement FedRAMP/NIST compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior architects and conduct knowledge-sharing workshops
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless computing
- Proven track record designing solutions for government or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
