Responsibilities
- Monitor complex network infrastructure, servers, and applications in real-time during the night shift window.
- Execute tier 3 troubleshooting to resolve critical incidents and escalations with minimal downtime.
- Perform proactive maintenance, patching, and system upgrades to prevent future outages.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures for the day shift handover.
- Collaborate with the DevOps and Security teams to implement robust incident response strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Technical Support roles.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and monitoring.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Prometheus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high productivity during night shifts.
