Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive relocation plans for executive-level transfers, including home sale/purchase assistance, destination services, and family integration support
- Manage relocation budgets up to $50K per transfer, negotiating with vendors to optimize costs while maintaining premium service quality
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including real estate agents, moving companies, and school placement specialists
- Develop Buffalo-specific relocation resources including neighborhood guides, school district information, and community networking opportunities
- Implement and track relocation program metrics to continuously improve service delivery and employee satisfaction scores
- Act as primary relocation consultant for assigned cases, providing 24/7 support throughout the relocation lifecycle
- Train junior relocation specialists on best practices and company-specific relocation protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of corporate relocation experience
- CRP (Certified Relocation Professional) or GMS (Global Mobility Specialist) certification required
- Proven track record managing high-volume relocation programs (50+ transfers annually)
- Expertise in relocation policy development and compliance with IRS/FHA regulations
- Exceptional negotiation skills with vendors and service providers
- Advanced proficiency in relocation management software (e.g., ReloQuest, Cartus)
- Strong knowledge of Western New York real estate market, school districts, and community resources
- Experience developing cost-effective relocation budgets while maintaining premium service standards
