Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, manage costs effectively, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and vendors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are upheld.
- Reporting: Generate detailed performance reports and present key metrics to senior leadership on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational change.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Seattle, WA.
