Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments including warehouse, transportation, and inventory management
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals with strong coaching and mentoring abilities
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive strategic decisions and performance optimization
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for service providers
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry regulations
- Coordinate with executive leadership to align operational goals with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years in operations management with 3+ years in logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodology
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple San Diego sites
