Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping/receiving, and quality control
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage team of 15+ operations specialists through performance coaching and development
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and drive strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Lead budget planning and cost reduction initiatives for the distribution center
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in warehouse/distribution operations management
- Proven expertise in inventory control systems (WMS) and supply chain optimization
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated team development success
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid Washington driver's license required
