- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost efficiency
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and budget allocation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in operations leadership with 3+ in management
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements reducing costs by 15%+
- Strong expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification required
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex operational data
- Experience managing teams of 15+ in high-volume logistics environments
- Deep understanding of Houston's transportation and logistics ecosystem
