Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic operational plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs by 15% annually
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of logistics coordinators, warehouse supervisors, and process analysts
- Implement and monitor KPIs including on-time delivery rates, inventory accuracy, and warehouse productivity metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with procurement, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Over budget management and resource allocation for the $25M annual operational budget
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean methodology and process automation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols across all operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics/operations management with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of optimizing complex supply chain processes and implementing successful change initiatives
- Expertise in warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan Associates, Oracle WMS) and TMS platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $15M and teams of 10+ employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak operational periods
