Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily operational workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Develop and monitor operational budgets, ensuring cost control measures are met without compromising quality.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with sales and logistics departments to forecast inventory needs and manage supply chain disruptions.
- Prepare comprehensive operational reports for executive stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or service industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and driving operational cost reductions.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-impact decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various facilities within the region.
