- Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics services
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry safety standards
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Mentor operations team through performance coaching and development programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business
- 7+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics/retail
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP preferred
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
- Proven track record of managing 50+ person teams in union/non-union environments
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
