Responsibilities
- Strategize and execute end-to-end operational plans to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of 15+ logistics professionals
- Implement lean methodologies and process improvements across distribution networks
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous optimization
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for operational resources
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with company growth goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in operations management with 3+ years in logistics/supply chain
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Expertise in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience over $5M
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
