Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead migration strategies from on-premises to multi-cloud environments
- Optimize cloud spending through FinOps best practices and architecture reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical workshops
- Collaborate with product teams to define cloud-native application roadmaps
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR standards
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong background in microservices and serverless architectures
- Proven experience leading complex cloud migration projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with cloud cost optimization tools
- Ability to relocate to Durham, NC by January 2024
